Two nights with the MOONdOGGIES (Seattle) // WIdOWER -Brooklyn-

The Moondoggies are a rock band from Everett, Washington. Formed in 2005 by Kevin Murphy (guitar, vocals), Caleb Quick (keyboards, vocals), Carl Dahlen (drums, vocals), and Robert Terreberry (bass, vocals). The band has released three albums and one EP on Hardly Art, an imprint of Sub Pop Records.

New Jersey native, Seattle staple, and off and on again New Yorker, Kevin Large has been making music under the WIDOWER moniker for over a decade. Large’s lyrically driven songwriting is reminiscent of Petty’s more mellow moments. There’s a cinematic sentiment to these songs, like a car in the rain in a Cameron Crowe film.
