4th Tap Anniversary: II

Year two is coming to a close, better throw a party! Help us celebrate the SEQUEL year and help us prep for a TRILOGY. Yes – movie jokes. We got ’em.

Join us on 11/11 – to celebrate 4th Tap’s 2nd anniversary!

We’re bringing a whole new CAST of beer releases for this RED CARPET event! SPOILERS AHEAD!

*cough* fine, fine, fine. We’ll stop.

SPECIAL RELEASES:

– Whiskey Barrel-aged Lawgiver: Remember that Russian Imperial Stout we releasesd right in the middle of June? Well, we aged a bit in whiskey barrels from our friends over at Banner Distilling, one of which we served up at our Alamo Drafthosue screening of Dredd. The other few we’re saving for special events over the next few years, special events like our second anniversary.

– Firkin Bar! We will have four firkin’s on site, starting at 1pm with:
Strawberry Vitality – Blonde w/ Cardamom
Bourbon & Oak the Upside Down – Brown Ale

We will tap 2 more special firkins at 5pm, or as soon as we drain the first two firkins.

– R&D Pilot Batches! So many pilot batches! These are each a single or double corney batch on our small pilot system to test out new ideas, recipies, ingredients, or techniques. Releases schedule:

2pm – Black Lodge
Black IPA
ABV: 6.5%
10 oz./$5
Existing in a stylistic extra-dimensional space, this medium bodied IPA has subtle roasted notes and a rich chocolate / citrus character.

4pm -Cowboy Behop
Cryo-Hopped IPA
ABV: 7%
10 oz./$5
A jazzy space-noir of tropical hops. Finished entirely with Cryo Citra and Cryo Mosaic hops this IPA has a smooth, almost creamy finish, with an upfront horn blast of tropical hops.

6pm -Snaggletooth
Session Porter
ABV: 3.5%
16 oz./$5
Full in body, but low in alcohol, this bready Porter has a full depth of malt character and subtle coffee notes. A great beer to keep a cool Fall night going.

8pm -Run PB&J
Peanut Butter Amber Wheat
ABV: 5.5%
10 oz./$5
A literal peanut butter sandwich in a glass. Toasted malts create a gentle bread crust character while delicate sweet malts balance out a liberal addition of peanut butter.

As we go into our third year, we just want to say “THANK YOU!” Thank you to everyone who has and continues to support what we do at 4th Tap. We truly appreciate every time you enjoy a pint in our taproom, open a can in your home, and tap a keg at your business. You allow us to do what we love EVERY SINGLE DAY. We can’t thank you enough…but we can throw a damn good party.
